As we eat we look out the cafeteria window at the new football stadium that is being built. There are 5 rows of windows that stretch accross the whole side of the structure. They are doing a test to see how the windows will all open. Since it isn’t automated yet, there is a person behind each triangular window operating it. As the windows open a choir is singing in a pattern that matches the rhythm of the windows opening and closing.

I am working in the Hadron Collidor. I am walking through the enormous pipes following power cords. I am making sure that the power cords are all plugged in because nobody else is willing to double check the work. I follow a cord into a stadium and under some bleachers. I can see a cord has been unplugged. None of the people in the stands are concerned about the impending doom that could result if I don’t get the cord plugged in soon. I climb through the people and down under the seats and plug the cord in much to the annoyance of the spectators.
