I am late for work at the local grocery store, Schnucks, where I worked in high school. I work there in the summers and I realize that I haven’t been punching the time clock. They aren’t going to be able to pay me for the time I have worked. I get to the room where the schedules are posted and I don’t see my name on the chart. I worry that I have been fired. I go to the ladies at the front and they tell me that I will have to talk to Hal, the manager.

Dreamed last night that my brother was closing his mortgage business in Indianapolis (which is actually a real-life possibility) – but that also, he was planning to move to Boston and start some sort of cool online company. I was furious that he didn’t ask for any help from me and my husband (a web programmer), and had instead buddied up with some tech guy he just met. I even yelled at my dad something to the effect of “Oh, it’ll be really successful, for sure. Everybody LOVES him! He’ll build this really cool company and make millions of dollars, and WE could’ve helped him but he didn’t even ASK!”
